Review: Fallen Too Far by Abbi Glines

Blurb:

To want what you’re not supposed to have…

She is only nineteen.

She is his new stepfather’s daughter.

She is still naïve and innocent due to spending the last three years taking care of her sick mother.

But for twenty-four year old Rush Finlay, she is the only thing that has ever been off limits. His famous father’s guilt money, his mother’s desperation to win his love, and his charm are the three reasons he has never been told no.

Blaire Wynn left her small farmhouse in Alabama, after her mother passed away, to move in with her father and his new wife in their sprawling beach house along the Florida gulf coast. She isn’t prepared for the lifestyle change and she knows she’ll never fit into this world. Then there is her sexy stepbrother who her father leaves her with for the summer while he runs off to Paris with his wife. Rush is as spoiled as he is gorgeous. He is also getting under her skin. She knows he is anything but good for her and that he’ll never be faithful to anyone. He is jaded and has secrets Blaire knows she may never uncover but even knowing all of that…

Blaire just may have fallen too far.

Oh My Gosh!  I love this book!!!  It does have some mature content, so not for younger readers.  I love Abbi Glines!  I haven’t read all of her books, but the ones I have read I absolutely love!  I can’t say enough praises about this book!

Blaire just moved from her home in Alabama to her father’s house in Florida after her mother passed away.  Blaire’s father left and remarried 5 years prior, and Blaire’s mother was sick with cancer for the past 3 years.  Blaire’s father wasn’t home when she showed up, but her father’s wife’s son, Rush, was.  Ah, Rush.  Typical bad boy rocker.

The story follows Blaire as she tries to get settled in for a new life, working to get out on her own.  But she cannot get Rush out of her mind.  So much feeling in these characters!  I teared up and felt heartbroken.  The whole time you are fighting for Blaire-she has been through so much in her short 19 years of life.  How much more can one take?  And will Rush be able to give more of himself?

This story will have me reeling for the next few days.  The second book, Never Too Far, will be coming out in March.  I’m so glad it continues!  I was wondering how it was going to wrap up so quickly.  But, oh my gosh, now I have to wait until March!!!  Ugh!!!  If you haven’t read any of Abbi Glines’ books, I highly recommend them!

Definitely a 5 out of 5 stars!
